About The Pub Tenancy

Located on the High Street in the heart of Cheswardine, the Fox & Hounds occupies a prominent position within this attractive Shropshire village, approximately 5 miles from Market Drayton and 8 miles from Newport.

The pub has the opportunity to attract trade from the village itself and surrounding rural communities, alongside visitors to the area, including walkers, cyclists and those staying at nearby caravan parks.

The Fox & Hounds is a substantial traditional pub with plenty of space inside and out. The business benefits from a commercial kitchen, beer garden and patio, pool table, opportunities for live music, five-bedroom private accommodation and a large car park with space for approximately 20 vehicles.

Who We’re Looking For:

 

This opportunity would particularly suit an experienced pub operator, pub manager or existing licensee who is confident taking responsibility for a business and can hit the ground running.

You’ll need to be hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable taking on a short-term agreement. We’re looking for someone who can quickly understand the business, identify opportunities to build trade and take ownership of the day-to-day operation.

Given the nature of the Tenancy at Will, previous pub management or operational experience will be important for this opportunity.
