Butchers Arms, Forsbrook

Nestled in the charming village of Forsbrook, just on the outskirts of the Staffordshire Moorlands, The Butchers Arms stands as an authentic Joule’s House, steeped in history since becoming part of the Joule’s estate in 2014. Witnessing a masterful expansion during its initial renovation, the brewery not only doubled the pub’s size but also retained its inherent charm, creating a delightful fusion of quaintness and spaciousness. Adorned with stained-glass panels, oak flooring, and wooden panelling, the Taphouse offers intimate corners and a warm ambiance.

Secluded from the bustling Cheadle Road, the pub is gracefully positioned between a picturesque green space and a tranquil brook. Stepping inside, guests are welcomed by a spacious bar showcasing the full Joule’s line-up. To the left, a dining area invites patrons to savour their meals, while the rest of the pub boasts numerous cosy nooks for patrons to retreat and enjoy their pints, perhaps in the snug with its inviting open fire.

For those seeking a more private setting, a tucked-away meeting room awaits around the corner, accommodating clubs, societies, and gatherings of up to 10 people. The venue also boasts a splendid beer terrace that wraps around the front and side, providing a perfect spot to unwind regardless of the weather.
