Ye Olde Rose & Crown

Business Overview

Our Stafford Taphouse sits on Market Street between the Gatehouse Theatre and Stafford’s central Library, performers can regularly be seen in the pub enjoy a beer, having a sing-song or acting out a spot of Shakespeare. Their high street location also means it’s the perfect place to take shelter from the elements, enjoy a spot of lunch or pint by the fireside.

Current Franchisees Sam and Ian have been at the pub for a number of years and have built up a great reputation locally with their involvement in community events and live music nights.

Ye Olde Rose and Crown was built in the early 1800s but the cellars are substantially older with original arched ceilings. This cosy ‘hole in the wall pub’ was restored in 2011 revealing the original panelling, wide oak board flooring and the commission of the largest Joule’s etched mirror.

Upstairs the private accommodation is host to two large bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and a lounge.

Nestled away in a bustling town centre location this Taphouse has heaps of potential for your next business venture.
