The White Horse, Shrewsbury

Proudly a pub, in the capital of our county town, the White Horse sits in the shadow of Lord Hill’s Column.

The White Horse, Wenlock Road reopened after refurbishment in June 2022 taking inspiration from the town’s famous flower show there are hints of botanists throughout the pub including in the brand new garden room with a built-in retractable roof the best spot to soak up the afternoon sunshine with a pint of Joule’s.

The Pub also boasts grand Beer Gardens on both sides including a Beer Shed with Monkey Bus Bar for live events, street food pop-ups or to simply shelter from the elements on cooler evenings.

The White Horse are well known for their bavarian take on Traditional pub classics and these echos can now be seen at the bar too with the Gruner Affe experience all served in a handled pint pot
