Joule’s is proud to care for a growing estate of beautifully restored Brewery Taps.

Each Joule’s Taphouse has its own distinct character, shaped by its history, its setting and its community, with the story of Joule’s Brewery thoughtfully woven throughout. The result is a genuinely unique pub estate, where every house feels individual, rooted in its place and unmistakably Joule’s. Many are well known locally, and over half are listed buildings.

Our focus has always been on traditional pubs. Proper pubs that have served their communities for generations and still have a sense of belonging, history and purpose. These are the places that connect us to each other and to our past.

To us, the perfect pub is simple. Step inside, feel welcomed, enjoy the warmth of the room and the people around you, and if you wish, become part of the community. All of it, of course, completed by a well-kept pint of cask ale, drawn by hand, just as it should be.

Our estate is a collection of historic pubs, carefully restored into Joule’s Taphouses. Each one tells its own story alongside ours, pouring Joule’s beer with pride, bringing people together, and acting as a local gateway to the brewery itself. Every Taphouse is, in spirit, a Brewery Tap for its area.

You’ll find our full estate listed here. Some houses are already restored, while others are waiting in the wings to be tapped. Wherever you visit, you’ll find good people, a warm welcome and a fine pint.

If you have thoughts, ideas, or feel we can do better, we’d love to hear from you. Joule’s has always been about listening, learning and continually improving.
