A Jewel of a Pub in Birmingham
Tucked into the heart of Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, The Red Lion is a bold and brilliant pub with a big personality – and we’re proud to now call it part of the Joule’s family. We’ve recently taken on the site and are spending time getting to know the building and the community, with plans for a thoughtful development in the works. This is a pub with plenty of soul, and we’re here to celebrate everything that makes it special.
Inside, The Red Lion is full of character. A proper pub with multiple rooms, each space offers something a little different – from the warm, wood-panelled bar and tucked-away snugs to the showstopping club room upstairs, perfect for private parties and big occasions. The pub also boasts a hidden gem: a split-level garden terrace out back, ideal for sunny pints, laid-back lunches, or late evenings under the lights.
The building itself is a local landmark – a striking piece of Birmingham’s pub heritage, packed with original details and a proud presence on Warstone Lane. Whether you’re popping in after work, meeting mates for the weekend, or planning a celebration, The Red Lion delivers the kind of relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that turns a quick drink into a proper session.
