Crown, Silverdale

The Crown our Silverdale Tap sits on the corner of Brook Street and the local ‘Silverdale Park’. This welcoming old mining village pub features a lively, friendly bar atmosphere as well as a welcoming lounge. Following the re-introduction of this historic Joule’s house to Silverdale the pub has gained a great deal of interest from locals past and present, with a range of memorabilia and original photos being displayed in the bar. Following in tradition you will find proper traditional pub games at the Crown, including Pool, Dominos and Darts.

Joule’s partnership with the Crown and wider Silverdale community has blossomed with the club sponsorship agreement between Joule’s and Silverdale Athletic FC, a club that was originally founded in the Taphouse in 1980.

The Crown has a large secluded beer garden, adorned with hanging baskets, planted boarders and blooms.

Always on Tap, Joule’s Pale Ale, Slumbering Monk, Pure Blonde and our English craft lager Green Monkey, alongside our rotating seasonal ale and cold craft beer. All brewed in Market Drayton with pure Shropshire mineral water.
