Over the 7th and 8th of June Shropshire Festivals, organisers of Shropshire Oktoberfest took over the QE11 Arena in Telford Town Park for Shropshire Pub at the Park. A fantastic event with a wide variety of cocktails, wine and of course beer on offer. The weekend showcased a brilliant line up of live music, comedy and a giant pub quiz. Amongst a wide range of breweries George and his team from the White Horse Shrewsbury, the latest addition to the Joule’s estate, were on hand with their craft beer bar. The event featured the latest seasonal keg from Joule’s, Indian Pale Ale, a premium copper coloured ale with hints of spice charged with a burst of fruit flavour and a bold hop finish. As well as Joule’s English Craft Lager Green Monkey a clean and fruity lager with a good bittersweet taste that is naturally laagered to produce the most delicate bubbles.
