Whilst out and about on the roads around Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire you may have spotted a peculiar green bus headed your way. The Joule’s Green Monkey Craft Beer Bus certainly is unique and always gets a range of honks and beeps on its way to events and festivals.
As promoters of craft brewing, Joule’s Brewery advocate flavoursome individually crafted and exciting beers. Using nothing but four core ingredients to create their lager – malt, hops, yeast and the purest mineral water. This guarantees Green Monkey’s premium taste and texture. Joule’s are very proud to say Green Monkey will never be pasteurised or artificial carbonated, only ever “Brewery Fresh”, and this comes from being laagered for up to four weeks. This careful method develops a naturally carbonated drink, producing the most delicate of bubbles, creating a smooth finish on the palate.
For the people of Lichfield, the Green Monkey Bus has become a regular sighting at Grub Club, their street food night out. Under the shadow of the Cathedral alongside a vast array of food stalls, accompanied with excellent entertainment, Leanne and her team from the Angel Inn are always on hand to keep everyone refreshed throughout the evening with Green Monkey on tap.
