Joule’s Brewery has been named a finalist for Best Brewing Pub Company at the prestigious event: The Publican Awards, recognising the strength of its brewery-to-bar model and the quality of its pubs across the Midlands and beyond.
The awards, hosted by The Morning Advertiser, celebrate excellence across the UK pub sector, with finalists selected for their performance, innovation and commitment to the trade.
Joule’s stood alongside some of the most respected names in the industry, with Robinsons Brewery taking home the top award on the night.
For Joule’s, the recognition reflects a year of continued growth and focus on what it does best: brewing fresh beer and serving it exclusively in its own pubs.
At the heart of the business is its brewery in Market Drayton, where beer is brewed and delivered directly to Joule’s pubs, ensuring quality, consistency and a distinctive sense of place.
Vicky Colclough, Managing Director at Joule’s Brewery, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised as a finalist at The Publican Awards. It’s a real reflection of the care and dedication across the whole business, from our brewers through to our tenants and pub teams.
We believe great pubs start with great beer, and this recognition shows that approach continues to resonate. To be considered alongside such strong businesses is something we’re genuinely grateful for.”
Joule’s has built its reputation on a simple principle: great beer, served well, in welcoming pubs. That approach is brought to life by its tenants and teams across more than 45 sites, each playing a role in delivering what the company describes as “beer at its best.”
Georgia Charlton-Briggs, Brand Manager at Joule’s Brewery, added:
“Moments like this are hugely important for us. They remind us just how special our pubs and our people are. From the brewers in Market Drayton to our tenants and pub teams, there’s a huge amount of pride in what we do every day. We care deeply about getting the simple things right, and it’s brilliant to see that acknowledged.”
The evening brought together leading operators from across the sector, celebrating the resilience and creativity of the UK pub industry.
Joule’s extended its congratulations to Robinsons Brewery and fellow finalists, and thanked the judges and organisers for what it described as “a fantastic evening and a real privilege to be part of.
